This piece was made using 3 antique dies, pressed in a hydraulic press. Then the silver components were hand-sawn out of the metal, to have defined shape and highlights. The patina on this full sterling silver pendant really give great contrast.
I call it "Inner Sanctum" because it gives a reflection of relaxing into yourself and being able to be still in times of unrest. The woman bears all, partially shrouded as the fabric flows in the breeze and she dips her feet into the pond. The turquoise in the piece is also a symbol of calmness and truth, as well as water, which is everchanging like the world around us.
Rough size is 2" long and 1" wide. Turquoise is from an old estate, so it's vintage and unknown origin.
